Nymphaeas
Nymphaeas is a project that works in consonance with Julia Margaret Cameron's view about women. The delicacy in which they are treated as if they were fragile and ethereal beings is represented here. The name chosen for the project refers to the lotus flower, creating a game between female characters that could represent nymphs and at the same time they are fragile, delicate and beautiful as lotus flowers. Flowers have always been a very feminine element, also charged with symbolism, flowers are included in some Julia Margaret Cameron's photos. Thus, the name’s project plays with this duality, women seen as a magical, fantastic, even mystical being and the view of women as a delicate, fragile and nostalgic being, creating a fusion between sensitivity and mystery.
